WESCAR RACE RESCHEDULED AT GOLD PAN SPEEDWAY QUESNEL

Hello All,

 

WESCAR is pleased to announce that we have been invited by the Quesnel Auto Racing Association to join them on the Sept 23 race day. This date is an originally scheduled Tri Cities Race Series event, as such we will be in a supporting role on this day. WESCAR would like to Thank both the QARA and the Tri Cities Street Stock Series for accommodating us as we complete our rescheduled 2017 Quesnel race. This combined event along with the cancelled Billy Barker Days places additional financial pressures on the local club. We are encouraging all of our loyal fans to bring along some friends to support the Quesnel Club and their continued support of our series. This will be the season finale for both race series, with close points battles throughout the field. 

This will undoubtedly result in another exciting race day as both series compete and entertain!  

 

Don't forget the previously announced Williams Lake event on Sept 9 as we build up to this finale.

 

Looking forward to a second half to our season as things rev up.

WILLIAMS LAKE WESCAR EVENT SEPTEMBER 9TH.

Hello Racers, Fans, Sponsors, and all,

As you are aware we have been forced to postpone another event for this season. The Williams Lake WESCAR Event originally scheduled for Aug 19 has been postponed until Sept 9. As many of you have probably heard the Province and Cariboo Regional District have placed bans on activities on Crown lands in certain areas, as such, and due to the strained emergency services in the Williams Lake area it would be very unwise to host an event in these locations. The Williams Lake Club has chosen to reschedule this event. WESCAR 100% agrees with this decision and look forward to this new date of Sept 9. 

On a positive note this date does not conflict with other late model activities throughout the province and is after the conclusion of many off the large events. We sincerely hope this will attract visiting and part time teams to attend. 

WESCAR anticipates an announcement regarding a rescheduled date for the Quesnel event very soon.

Both of these communities have been cornerstones of WESCAR since its inception and we sincerely hope that all active teams throughout BC will make an effort to support these events to entertain these great fans, volunteers, and sponsors.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Sept 9 for some great exciting racing action!
